Applying for an Online Job and Bringing Up Money Issues
Like it or not, money matters. This principle should not rule you as you look for what jobs you are good at: making money a priority could make you blind to aggression or anyone taking advantage of your gullibility online. However, when you have found your chosen field, know your worth and do not ask for less. For instance, if a potential client offers you anything far below your asking price, have the courage to either refuse, or negotiate.

Before you do any negotiating, however, have a range of values ready for your services. Have an upper and lower limit of charges that you will impose, and make a bid near the upper limit if you are offered a job.

Do your research. Read about how much people in your chosen field charge for their services. Visit websites or attend classes to hone your craft. Join online forums and groups of people involved in your chosen field, so you can have easy access to tips and updates. Remember that you are casting yourself amongst veterans and experienced workers online who know more than you do. You have to prepare both your guts and your brains.
