"hey everyone I am here to save you from gifting - go to my website and buy my stuff!" Can't get in contact with their inviter after a gift?! No phone numbers?! A PO Box somewhere?! I'm afraid you are wrong. Why don't you just market your stuff without attacking something else..

He is right it is tax evasion. In short, because a gift requires "Donative Intent" in fact and appearance to the IRS. So, once a "return gift" is provided it will be deemed consideration, if it is property(meaning that you now have tax basis in that property) or in the case of cash, it would be considered the return of a personal loan and interest should be imputed (that means interest income you pay tax on). I don't care that it is illegal- people do illegal things daily, but you will loose your legal recourse (i.e. whining privileges) when you loose your ass.
