Outer Home Office
From a small spare bedroom, shoe designer Susan Giroux moved her home office out of the house. With the help of her husband, Paul, they made their backyard a cedar
potting shed which has been later on turned into an office. With the addition of a deck, a wood stove, Susan's design material containers, and other stuff to make the space a lot cozier, it's become a sweet home office outside the home.
On the Stair Landing Home Office
Klaris and Weiss, who are both in the creative field made use of their skills in renovating to produce a workplace where their whole family can do both work and play comfortably - on their wide stair landing.
Closet Home Office
While remodeling their kitchen, Barbara and Jurgen Link found an opportunity to also get their family more organized with the construction of a home office from an extra-wide closet.
"It houses the computer, phone, and answering machine, as well as labeled file folders to hold important warranties and bills. Because the office is in the kitchen, Barbara is able to get meals ready while helping the kids with their homework."
