Feng Shui Tips for your Home Office in 2007
2007 is fast closing in on us, and we need to make sure our home offices are in a perfect position to take full advantage of the many changes that astrologists are predicting for the year. Feng Shui is an art of arranging furniture and materials in your home to ensure that it maximizes the "luck" factor that can be the difference between a business' success or failure. Here are eight changes you will want to make, based on the 8 compass points:

East - decorate this part with wooden items and contrasting red colors. Using red hardwoods instead of painted wood is considered especially lucky. Add a potted plant or two as well for enhancing the region's wood-element affinity. This region serves the purpose of enhancing fame and recognition, so it also boosts any advertising and word-of-mouth actions you may be doing to promote your home business.

South - this sector is all about business success. Place your picture here, along with metal decorations. Using expensive metals, especially gold, will attract further business fortune. Avoid "cold" metals like steel and aluminum here. You want to use precious metals as much as possible. Also place a cup of water near your picture, as this has been known to increase financial luck.

West - this sector caters to water and life elements, so avoid using metals here. Decorate it heavily with potted plants and if you can find them, small fountains or waterfalls. The life element of this sector not only improves your health, but the addition of the water element gives you discernment in your business deals, improving your ability to recognize and take advantage of good opportunities.

North - finally, decorate the north sector with incense. This incense caters to the element of fire. The north is actually a very negative area which attracts a lot of misfortune and financial loss, gossip, and untrustworthiness. The reason for placing fire elements here in the form of incense is to burn away and negate these negative energies at the point where they tend to collect the strongest.

These are only suggestions, of course, if you are thinking of consulting Feng Shui for more business success possibilities.
