For BabyBoomer Businesswomen
As more and more of babyboomers or mid-life folks start to explore their business options, it is just timely that we feature some sites that offer to support their needs.

One resource made especially for mid-life women venturing on businesses or just planning to is TipsCommunity.

The TIP$ Mid-Life Women's Business Community offers valuable information, tools, support and networking opportunities to help make your dream a reality. MEMBERSHIP IS FREE.

Aside from resource links that do not only inform businesspeople on the how-to's, networking and more business knowledge can be had from its "stay connected" page and forum.

One issue or thread started on the forum went like this:

I'm 58 and have a chance to take early retirement in two years. I've always wanted to open a gourmet food market but I don't have any experience in this area. I like my current job, but I have this burning desire to open this kind of shop. Anyone else been in this situation? What can I do now to plan for this?
