Home based party planner
Do you like organizing parties? Are you a detailed kind of person? Why not run a home based party planner business?

There are many kids out there who have birthday parties. Some parents give out lavish birthday parties for kids while others, just a simple backyard children's party. Well, guess what? You can get experience by offering your services to simple birthday parties first so that you can have a few birthday Party Planning gigs under your belt so you can be equipped to handle bigger and more lavish birthday parties.

Start with your neighbors or friends. Sit down with them and talk about a theme for their child's birthday party. Talk about games, prizes, type of food, location of party, and all the necessary details.

Visit your local party shop and see what's in there so you will have an idea on what to suggest to the party host. You also need to have contacts with catering, clown services, party magicians, table and chair rentals, face painters, cake makers, puppeteers.

The idea is to over deliver on your promises to get those precious referrals. During the party, ask the host if you could leave a bunch of business cards on each of the table so that the guests can get hold of your business card for instant referrals.
