Infocision.com will be conducting interviews on July 26 from 10:30 am to 2:30 pm at Muskingum County Opportunity Center, to hire telemarketing applicants who will be allowed to work from home.
Feltrup said the company looks for individuals who are "eager to work but are having difficulty finding quality jobs."
"We'll be paying around $6 to $8 an hour depending on experience and things like having ever worked in a call center before," Feltrup said. "While we know the salaries are not the largest, one great advantage is there is no wardrobe to purchase for an office nor is there any driving involved."
InfoCision is bringing the work-at-home program to Zanesville because of "the tremendous success we have had at our call centers and work-at-home program throughout Ohio," said the company's personnel coordinator Emily Murray. "Advances in technology have made the work-at-home program a great fit for InfoCision as we continue to grow as a company. We feel like this is the wave of the future."
The company launched its work-at-home program more than a year ago and employees will have a set schedule similar to phone representatives in one of the company's 30 call centers.
Some of the requirements to work from home include owning a computer that meets the following requirements: a 17-inch monitor or one with resolution of 1024 x 768; DSL or cable high-speed Internet access, Windows 2000 or XP and anti-virus and anti-spyware software.
In addition individuals need to have a valid e-mail address and a land-line home phone.
