Growing a Day Care Home Based Business
Who can help you run and market the center? You may need to search for sponsors, such as churches or civic organizations, who can help you defray operation and marketing costs. Your affiliation with such groups can also boost your image and credibility amongst the parents in your community.
A day care center can be profitable, especially if you add services such as summer workshops, van services, and incentives for successful referrals. You need to network in order to sustain the business, and innovate to make it grow, by offering new classes or activities for your wards. You may expect a return on your investments if you enroll
over two hundred children within two weeks; this may be faster if you operate in an area with very few to none day care centers.
If you are interested in putting up a day care home business, you may want to consult with your local Securities and Exchange Commission office, as well as your local Internal Revenue Service office. You may also want to link with educational institutions and Child welfare offices to ensure the integrity and credibility of your center.
