Tips on How to Make Your House Cleaning Home Business Succeed

A house cleaning home business will profit more from actual advertising and word of mouth marketing. Online marketing will only work if you advertise about your business through a social networking site and in which most people are within your area.

House cleaning is a very broad term so it's likely for you to entertain jobs of various levels. To prevent any misunderstanding - and consequently customer dissatisfaction - from arising between you and your client, always arrange for the customer to specify exactly what he wishes to be done in writing. All details pertaining to the job must also be included in the contract.

As much as possible, do not accept any house cleaning job that will require you to enter the premises with no one around.

Each job you accept must be associated with two important goals: Firstly, you must provide a thorough cleaning of the house. Anything below your best effort is not acceptable. Secondly, return everything in the manner of which you've first found them; attention must be paid to the correct and precise arrangement of the furniture and objects within the house.

Know your target market. Generally, single parents, career-oriented couples, elderly individuals, bachelors, and families preparing for a vacation fit the profile of a house cleaning home business' target market. Your ads must contain the BENEFITS that these people will enjoy when they hire you as a house cleaner.

Always emphasize the fact that you can be trusted 100% and of course, act accordingly.

Add an extra touch to distinguish your services from your competitors. For every initial service provided for a new client, for instance, leave a bouquet of Fresh Flowers - or something that's equally pleasing and will not be considered cheap even by your most affluent clients - and a thank-you card behind to show your appreciation.
