How to Make Your Scrapbooking Home Business Thrive

Always charge reasonable rates; this is not to say that you can't charge higher than your competitors, but just make sure that the price attached to your products and services are justifiable.
Quality and uniqueness of design are the two most important things that separate your products and services from the rest, so make sure that you don't sacrifice either just to increase the quantity of production.
As scrapbooks can be used for various purposes, make sure that you have a sample ready for each theme - birthdays, baptismal events, travel, weddings, memorials, graduation day, and lots more.
Don't allow your concern for the financial aspect of the business to cloud your artistic judgment or vice versa. Be practical, but at the same time, never let financial worries be a reason to produce scrapbooks of poor taste.
Invest time and effort to improve your scrapbooking skills. This is your bread and butter, after all, so there's always room for improvement. If you let your skills stagnate, your customer base will decrease in time.
Lastly, always remember that scrapbooks are not entirely about beautiful designs. They are also about the messages they impart, so it's important to hone your writing skills in order to create funny or poignant messages in your scrapbooks. Read voraciously to get new ideas on what to write.
