Home Office Must-Haves

. Sometimes, though, the home office is dimly lit, has not enough storage space, among other complaints that keep us from getting right down to work and doing the nitty gritty. So how do you turn your home office into a place where you are energized and ready for work, not for fixing the clutter? A few tips:
1. Get a nice, good, comfortable chair. You need to spend the rest of your time working and not fidgeting uncomfortably. You can scrimp on office supplies but don't hold out your money on this. What's that word people say nowadays? Oh yeah, make sure it's ergonomic.
2. Desks. Desks have all sorts of thingamabobs and contraptions on them nowadays. Pick the height that's suited best for you -- taller desks for older people who find sitting uncomfortable, for example. For more work space, get an L-shaped desk where you can swivel from point to point with ease.
3. Storage. Keep them at the right height to keep yourself from bending down or reaching up. Remember: the more you use something, the easier it should be to reach.
4. Lighting. Don't strain your eyes and let enough light shine through -- position work areas to take advantage of the natural light. Otherwise, get enough ambient lighting so that your eyes don't tire out too easily from the strain.
Great offices help people put out great work. So make sure that your home office reflects how your work should be.
