When you were still working in an office setting for some company, your idea of de-stressing may be about calling in sick at work to spend some time with your family or to go shopping or to go on a vacation with your friends or something.
But now that you have a home based business which allows you to more or less be more in control of your schedule, do you de-stress the same way as you did when you were still doing your 9 to 5?
Here are some of my de-stressing methods:
1. Foot Spa
I'm too ticklish for a full-body massage so foot spa does it for me. If you prefer to get some noggin love, maybe a facial treatment with some head massage is for you.
2. Chats over Coffee
It's just as simple as setting a date with your friends or just come up with anything spontaneously and meet up with friends and chat the day away in a coffee shop, bar, or anywhere except your house.
3. Food Trips
Check out food blogs which feature restaurants or places that are not too far from your place but you've never been too. Then, hit the road with enough cash and let your taste buds savor something new.
The idea is to get away from it all even for just a while. Oh, and while doing any of those, remember to not bring your laptop or PDA, please.
