You've done your best mastering the field you'd like to conquer as a virtual assistant. Check!
Now is the time to try your luck, ok and skills, of course, to see if you can start working supporting someone's business through testing the waters of landing virtual gigs. Here is a list of places where you can start looking for this type of work and if you'd like more, try the following:
- oDesk.com
- GetaFreelance.com
- Scriptlance.com
- RentaCoder.com
Those are actually bidding sites where service providers and buyers can find each other. Many service buyers are looking for virtual assistants at cheap rates. Rates such as $3-$5 per hour can be very frustrating. But these projects can get your career rolling if you maximize the opportunity by learning more about how to deal with different types of clients, learning to become a bidding or proposal swami, and giving your best to deliver.
Have you tried any of these bidding sites?
