Idea of the Week: Home Based Business Selling Beauty Products

The two top companies which offer home marketing packages for their members are Avon and Mary Kay. While their marketing structures and compensation programs are different, both are lucrative means of making an extra buck on the side. Other, smaller cosmetics companies don't offer home business programs that are extensive as these two giants, but have options which can be equally effective if you're computer literate, like etailing. This is basically online retail marketing. Etailing is a tactic used by more than just cosmetic companies, so if you choose to go this route you can actually expand your options further by marketing multiple products from the comfort of your home.
Marketing Methods
As mentioned above, some cosmetics companies sell marketing packages to their home marketers. These packages are usually coupled with the opportunity to sell a similar package to other women, who in turn can take up home cosmetics selling as well. You earn not only a commission in these cases, but also a referral fee as well for bringing in another home retailer for the cosmetics company. In some companies, you can even earn tiny percentages from the sales of all of your referrals, which add further to your income. Etailing, on the other hand, is much more straight forward - you just advertise and sell the company's products online, and earn commissions
for each sale made. This requires a bit of know-how regarding online marketing tactics though, and isn't for everyone.Permalink: Idea of the Week: Home Based Business Selling Beauty Products
