Is home based business right for you?

Before diving into the world of home based business, one really needs to think deeply if it is really the right thing to do.

I learned that it all starts with the dream. Try asking yourself, if time and money is not a problem, what is it that you want to do, you want to have, or you want to become?

* What kind of car do you like to drive?
* What kind of house would you like to live in?
* Where would you like to spend your vacation?
* How much time would you spend with your family?
* What hobbies do you want to pursue if time and money is not a problem?

I suggest you write it down and list whatever you want to accomplish in life.

Now ask yourself, can you get all these doing what you do now? If the answer is yes, then probably you don't need to change anything. Just keep on doing what you are doing right now and you'll get to the place where you want to go. But if your answer is NO, then you might want to think about changing directions, otherwise, you'll end up where you're headed.

The next question you need to think about is this... "Is home business right for you?". We will probably talk later about what business is right for you but now, lets concentrate if home business is really a right option for you.

Are you a do it all person?
Do you find ways to solve problem or do you just forget about the problem and hope it goes away?
Are you willing to work longer hours even on Saturdays and Sundays?
Are you prepared financially?
Are you prepared mentally?
Are you willing to sacrifice going to social gatherings?
Are you willing to let go of TV time?
Do you think you are disciplined enough to still wake up early to go to your home office?
Are you willing to do the Dirty Jobs included in a home business such as doing cold calls and getting rejected?
Are you prepared to become a CEO, secretary, typist, delivery person, driver, accountant, receptionist, sales manager, DIY handyman all rolled into one?

There's a lot more but....you get the point.

If your answer is all "YES", then congratulations, Home Business is a strong option for you.
