A Temporary Alliance
Holiday competition is tough, but you're likely to survive and fare better if you're working together with other companies. If you are selling pet supplies, for instance, then you should consider forming at the very least a holiday marketing tie-up with a pet food store and a pet salon. Together, all of you can create a fantastic marketing promo that would make customers go to all of your stores! Lowering your prices a bit won't matter in the long run when customers come flocking in hordes!
Last but not the least, consider tying up with any holiday event. Holidays are also days where people expect to go out and have fun. Talk to local restaurants, inns, and other attractions and try coming up with a package that would provide mutual benefits.
The ways to take advantage of the holidays for your home-based business are endless - the only limit is your imagination!
