Nancy Shinn and her flute repair home business
Nancy Shinn, a flutist decided one day to take a course on flute repair just to have some information in case anything happened to her flute. Little did she know that it is going to change the course of her life.

Now, two years later, she has a thriving flute and piccolo repair and sales business. She runs it at her home in Leicester.

Using the power of the internet, the bulk of Shinn's business comes from her web site at www.flutestar.com. People from all over the country started sending their broken instruments to her for repairs. She also buys broken flutes then fix them and sell it at 2/3 to 3/4 off the retail price.

If you're into guitars or other musical instruments, think about having your own home based instrument repair business.
