James Legrand, who operates a recording home business in his basement, acquired a special permit but not without the following conditions:
- The business will be limited to 486 square feet, and there will be no additional structures or building expansions.
- The business owner has to leave a buffer zone of shrubs and trees along his western property line.
- Any noise associated with the home occupation "shall not be audible off the limits of the subject property."
- No signs will be allowed.
- Only one employee who is not a resident of the property will be allowed on-site and;
- The hours of operation will be limited to 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
