Handling a home business, moreover, requires you to be proactive. While emergency situations will teach you how to handle problems that you may not have anticipated, you have all the time to work out what problems you might encounter. You need to have contingency plans in case your computers break down. You need to have a Plan B to cater to overly demanding clients. You need to have a backup plan to meet up with the challenges of technology that is reliable, but can break down.
In other words, you need to plan ahead and seize opportunities as they come. You cannot afford to sit back and watch the world go by - you cannot afford to let procrastination destroy your home business. Procrastination will lead to nothing but frustration and regret on your part. Moving a little further, this can lead to a loss of self-esteem, perhaps even depression if you find that your home business is beyond salvation.
