However, surely there will still be more people who are less giddy about a home-based travel agency business just because of rumors about the travel industry waning and of course, the ever going solo scare.
If this is the case, and if no amount of cheerdancing can make you try this home business, how about taking part as a home-based travel reservations agent in the mean time?
News has it that more and more travel businesses are testing the waters of allowing some of their employees do the stint at home such as Continental Airlines.
After getting the hang of it, you will most probably be well-armed to do it home-based with you being your own boss!

As we all know being a travel professional is not as easy as it looks! Sure, we don’t have to have a college degree, but it certainly helps and the more education we can invest in our careers, the more successful we are sure to become. Studies done by Plog Research and others have proven this to be fact. Knowledge is power and the beautiful thing is, it can never be taken away from us. We need to refresh and update our skills and knowledge base, but once we own that knowledge in our minds, it is truly ours. Never forget that the knowledge that our clients want from us is excellent advice about the products we sell.
