Reaching For the Dream of Self Employment

Every home business starts with an idea and a dream. If you're living yours right now, congrats. If you are still dreaming and wondering if you can do it, here's a video for you. The man it's about is Alton Brown, host of the hit Food Network shows "Good Eats" "Iron Chef America" and "Feasting on Asphalt". What's he got to do with home based business and the dream of being your own boss? Well once upon a time he was living the 9-5 life working in video production. When he was off he watched cooking shows on TV and complained about them, saying he could do better and wished he could. Finally, his wife challenged him to go out and make his own show, and he did. He made it himself, paying for it out of his own pocket and borrowing a kitchen to film in, then approached Food Network. The rest is history.
