Tips are generally irrelevant if they are not to be followed. A summary of the things one could do to make sales pitching a success is outlined.
First things first, smiling is a must. It brightens up one's day so why could it not brighten the people you are going to present the pitch to.
A smile could launch a thousand ships, and a smile could even launch your career and a lot of sales. Never underestimate it.
Asking questions, valid and relevant ones of course, is essential. This makes the person listening to your pitch be and feel involved. It makes people be attentive.
Also, it helps a lot if you know everything and anything you need to know about the product you are pitching. This makes you excited to tell what you now to those who do not. It also makes people excited on what you are telling them.
Enthusiasm breeds curiosity. Curiosity breeds interest. Interest begets sales. Sales mean money, lots of it.
Throwing some extra plus-es such as a free this or that is a good way to engage people. The logic behind such is that psychology has proven that people are really interested on anything and everything they receive for free.
Also, making people laugh - and this must be positive humor at no one's expense - is a pitch that is good to listen to and easy enough for just about anyone to engage in.
