Set the Rules to Avoid Strain in Family Relationships While Working from Home
Many work-at-home entrepreneurs will tell you that the most challenging part of the job is sometimes keeping it separate from issues at home. Family and work co-existence is often one of the most difficult to obtain. However, it isn't entirely impossible. Check out what you can do to avoid family relationship strain while working from a home-based office or business:

Set the rules at the very beginning.
Talk to your family and tell them what you're planning to achieve by using a part of your home as a work area. Tell them your work hours, where you will be setting an office and what you would like them to do (or not to do).

Ask for their support and cooperation. If they understand that you will still be working even if you're at home, they will know you're off limits at certain times of the day. By ensuring that your objectives are noted and understood, you'll avoid an unnecessary strain in your family's relationship.
