Short Course in Launching a Home Business

Blue Ridge Community College in Flat Rock is making home business management knowledge more accessible to those who want to launch their own home businesses through a new course.

The course that promises to teach how to successfully open or expance a business from home will be held at Blue Ridge Community College in Flat Rock from 6 to 9 p.m. on Wednesdays, Jan. 24 through March 21,

This new course will address the types of home based business opportunities and keys to success such as the right business structure, low cost marketing, accounting to lower taxes and how to access free business assistance services. The course will include expert guest speakers and the ability to learn from a panel of successful local home based business owners.
