Taxes and Home Based Business
Tax time is upon us again and if you are a Home based business owner or otherwise self-employed, taxes can be a real headache. 1099's, Schedule C's, Estimated Taxes, Quarterly Payments...it can really be overwhelming. Take my advice, don't do it yourself, at least not the first year. Talk to a professional. Tax laws are highly complicated and change regularly-and penalties are steep. Not only that but doing it yourself means you could miss out on money saving deductions-or set yourself up for an audit by taking the wrong ones. Play it safe and speak to a professional. Yes, it costs money, but it money well spent!
