If you have a home business, your concerns could include hurricanes or storms that could break off your Internet connections or blow away your roof. If you have an online business, your worries could include yet another Dot Com crash, or bigger, better, more aggressive companies sprouting up alongside yours and completely taking in your market.
Can you keep your home or online business safe from disasters? If you want to keep your business running smoothly, all you need to remember is that you should not be reactive but proactive. That is, you should anticipate all the dangers before they come, and have all your contingency plans ready. If you are reactive, you can be caught by surprise in the event of disaster, and find your business slipping away from you through situations that are out of your control.

If you operate a home business, then you will most likely worry more about the forces of nature stepping in the way of your profit. Such forces of nature can also disable online businesses: if you are in the habit of constantly updating your website or contacting your clients, power outages can push you to change your daily agendas and exert even more pressure on you. I totally agree with you Noel. I think being proactive is very important. I live in Bangladesh and every day the electric goes out for more than one hour at night.This is why I do most of my works at day.
