The Answer: All of them can start up their business from home!
And if you want to start a home business yourself, here's what you can do to ensure that it will end up being a lucrative one and not something that will force you to file for bankruptcy.
Tip # 1 Always Think Big
Home businesses are correctly classified as small businesses because they usually require low investment costs and few employees. Just because you started small, however, doesn't mean you'll remain as such till the end of days. Always plan for big things to happen for your business and believe in it! Your small home business has every chance to expand, but that will only happen if you're willing to believe and take the necessary risks. Opportunities are made and not born.
Tip #2 Do What You Know and Love
Don't start a scrapbooking business if you don't have an active imagination. Don't start a house cleaning business if you're not willing to clean dirty bathrooms. Don't be a home based wedding planner if you're not ready to deal with hysterical brides. In short, a home business can only be made into a lucrative one if you've got the three E's for it: experience, expertise, and enthusiasm. Scratch out any of the E's and your business is doomed to fail.

When I started venturing into home based business on something that I'm not experienced but it is something I like, I learned quickly, and was excited to "report to work" in my home office. Suddenly, it doesn't feel like I'm dragging myself to go to work.
I don't think this can be generalized but I believe many people have a better success rate if they chose to do something they like and make money out of it.
But if ever I'll have a business that I do not like the kind of work invovled but it really pays that well, I will probably find somebody who likes the job and hire him/her. Then I can concentrate on certain aspects of the business that I like doing :-)
