with leather drawer fronts. It's sturdy, beautiful, and holds an amazing about of stuff without looking like it's about to explode. It cost me $74 and it's worth every penny as it will last forever. I got two sliver mesh magazine files to hold my trade journals and notepads. Very handy and everything looks so much better when it's not stacked in one big pile. $6.99 each at the Container Store. Also from there I got a fiberboard document box for $15. It's tucked under my desk lamp and holds a nice healthy supply of printer paper, keeping it dust free, pristine and at my fingertips. I also got two matching project folders. These are great for holding receipts, clippings from newspapers and magazines, etc. The lamp is a simple desk lamp from Staples. It has slots for pads of Post It notes. a pen/pencil holder, and trays to hold little necessities like paperclips. $25. Also from Staples I got a cool stapler set for $12. It's made by Swingline. The stapler comes with a stand that has a built in staple remover and a slot that holds a pad of Post Its. Under my desk I have two baskets that I got for $9 at my local CVS. One holds spare office supplies, the other cords for all my electronics (laptop, cell phone, PDA, etc. Keeps everything organized and neat. There you have it! Great looking, functional, and affordable items to makeover any home office!
