We have lots of such scams posted on our website regularly. Many of them ask you to be a "representative" of their company and accept payments on their behalf. Problem is, the entire setup is a scam!

Many people mistake a home business for a work at home job and are disappointed they have to handle so much work. Others get a work at home job and are not happy at having someone give them work to do.

Scam is such an over-rated word. While some businesses are fraudulent, some people use the word scam relating it to a business they failed in. In most cases, instead of saying 'scam'...most people should just say 'I quit because I didn't make any money' or 'I quit because I sucked at it!'
The best way to protect yourself from falling for a scam is research on both ends of the spectrum. Do you research and see what people are saying and take the questions back your contact with the opportunity and find out if it is legit. In most cases of business failure, it is the fault of the entrepreneur rather than the business model!
