It's a dream of many to work just about anywhere they please. Who won't love to just bring their laptops anywhere they want and still earn some decent income to make ends meet and fund some travels, too.

One of the most successful in pursuing this type of exciting career is Lea Woodward who has even authored a book, X Marks the Spot, dedicated to those who'd like to follow her footsteps her list of dozens of bloggers also working while being globetrotters.


In her blog, aptly called Location Independent, she provides tips and tricks for those who would like be Location Independent Professionals. Aside from the bits of advice on how to get started she writes about the potential businesses that a mobile worker or L.I.P. can get into, much like the home based business ideas I post here.

This sounds like a new project for me.
